History

1960
La Cocinera was created as a family company, initially manufacturing pastry doughs.
1962
The company began to produce and sell different types of frozen products such as croquettes.
1965
The factory was transferred to Torrejon, near Madrid.
1980 - 1985
General Mills progressively acquired the La Cocinera business.
1991
BSN-Danone Group acquires La Cocinera from General Mills.
1999
The La Cocinera brand is purchased by Nestlé.
2000
The manufacturing of all La Cocinera products is transferred to the Nestlé ready meals factory in Valladolid.
2015
Findus Group acquires the La Cocinera brand and takes over responsibility for the Valladolid factory.
